Invited Session IS39. Ambient Intelligence
Motivation and Objectives.
Ambient Intelligence (AmI) is an ubiquitous process of perception and communication envolving
computers and humans interaction. Growing integration brings novel opportunities
for ambient intelligence to use interaction methods. We are searching for solutions to questions arisen from this
integration. Related topics include but are not limited to:
- Ambient interfaces
- Multimodal sensor fusion
- Assistive systems
- Body monitoring
- Privacy and Security
- Human-robot interaction
- Robotics
- Soft sensors

The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in AI series.
Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in the KES Journal.
Authors must prepare original manuscripts which should not exceed 8 pages in the Springer-Verlag format.
Author guidelines may be otained at Springer website. Please submit a paper using the conference page at
http://kes2007is.prosemanager.com/submitpaper.asp. When submitting your
paper, please select "IS39 Ambient Intelligence" as the main session.
Paper submitted for special sesssions will be peer-reviewed with the
same criteria as regular contributed papers.
