The Engineering School in Vilanova i la Geltrú, also known as the EPSEVG, has strived to combine its educational experience with a spirit of growth and innovation throughout its 100 year existence and recent initiatives such as the European Project Semester, which started in 2008, or the degree in Industrial Design, which began a year later in 2009 reflect this spirit. The EPSEVG also maintains strong links with the surrounding area and local community and, via its Technology Centre (CTVG), enhances technology transfer to local companies.
Around 1500 students, a staff of 200 and 15 different departments make up the EPSEVG. Their joint efforts ensure that the school continues to grow and look to the future.
