What is IDPS?

Introduction
The International Design Project Semester (IDPS) is a one-semester course designed to train final-year industrial design engineering students to work in international teams. In the IDPS, an international team of students works on a real-life project. The language of communication is English (level required B2). Students are awarded 30 ECTS if they successfully complete the programme.
Characteristics:
- It is international and multicultural.

- Its focus is on eco design and sustainability.
- It is an intensive, one-semester programme.
- It is worth 30 ECTS.
Structure:
- A project (20 ECTS):
During the semester and under the guidance of an academic tutor, an international team of four to six students works on a real-life project. Teams are made up of students from an industrial design engineering background from all over Europe and beyond. Individual and group tutorials will be offered during the semester.
- Courses (10 ECTS):
Short intensive courses with practical workshops about topics related to project management will also be offered to enhance the work related to the Project and to help students develop their communication and cooperation skills.
In addition to academic activities the programme also includes cultural and social activities.
