Learning Outcomes


The objectives are to equip the student with the knowledge, capacities and skills which will enable him or her to adapt to changes in the field of technology and society in general. The degree provides the student with a training which will permit him or her to exercise his/her profession as an electrical engineer in both a competitive environment and in an international context.
 

Career prospects


On completion of this degree, graduates will have received the necessary training to carry out activities related to the design, calculation, projection, control, testing and maintenance of systems, installations, machinery, equipment and devices responsible for the generation, transportation, distribution, sale and consumption of electrical energy. The student will be capable of holding management, clerical and marketing posts in both commercial electrical enterprises and companies which manufacture electrical material. They will be qualified to work in both the private and public sector, be self-employed or accept teaching posts at levels permitted by current legislation.
 

Acquired competences


Competences include the understanding of basic materials and technologies which allow the student to learn new methods and theories and thus enable him/her to be versatile and adapt to new situations. Students will be able to draw up, develop and manage projects in the fields of Electrical Engineering. They will be able to undertake organizational and planning tasks within business enterprises and other organizations. They will have the knowledge to analyze and evaluate the impact of their technical solutions at a social and an environmental level. Finally, they will have the skills to operate in a multilingual and multidisciplinary environment.
